Rhythmicity Live Session 2 – Scouts & Explorers

We are absolutely delighted to invite Scouts, Explorers and their leaders from across the district to one of two live and interactive zoom workshops with percussion pros Rhythmicity!

The group play along with Percussion Leader, Tim as he guides them from “rumbling” to improvising, through progressive steps designed to build skill, confidence and understanding. The session will be tailored specially to the Scout and Explorer age group.

Other members of the household are welcome to join in from the same device.

Equipment: Participants will need access to a device capable of running Zoom and ideally a pair of headphones with a built in mic to improve the sound – but this is not essential. They will also need some percussion instruments, either bought or home-made. Pasta/rice/dried peas in plastic containers work well as shakers; saucepans/plastic tubs/wastepaper bins work well as drums; various kitchen utensils make great bell and block sounds!

Each session can only have a maximum of 100 young people from each section so please book early.

N.B. a parent must be in the vicinity during the session.

Joining details will be sent an hour before the event.
