🧗 Clogwyn Climbing Wall
The climbing wall is free to use when you book accommodation at Clogwyn or Penrhyn, but you must book the wall in advance before using it.
When accommodation is booked, the climbing wall discount will automatically be added to your basket, whether you book it at the same time or add it afterwards.
🧗 What’s Provided?
We provide the ropes, which are already rigged, but these must be checked before use.
Visiting groups should provide their own:
- Harnesses
- Helmets
- Belay devices
- Carabiners
👷 Instructor & Supervision
The climbing wall is provided on a dry-hire basis, so you will need to arrange your own suitably qualified instructor(s). While we may occasionally be able to help, this cannot be guaranteed.
We recommend using the Scout Membership System permit holder search to find and contact climbing permit holders in your own district, county or the local area, including Anglesey and Snowdonia.
Please ensure the wall is booked before use and that appropriate supervision and equipment are arranged in advance
