    Doing you Digital Maker or Citizen Badge? Maybe you just want to mend that broken tent pole you can’t buy a replacement part for. The District own a 3D printer which Groups and Explorer Units are welcome to borrow.

  • DJI Phantom 3 4k Drone

    Running a event that requires aerial photography of video? The Drone is a great resource for the capture of media for use in publicity or as a more practical tool to look for lost Scouts while out on a hike.

  • Garmin eTrex 10 GPS Unit

    The District own a number of handheld GPS Units that can be loaned to groups for use in their programme or while participating in Adventurous Activities. We have eight units in total (two of the eTrex 10 model and six of the eTrex 30x model). They can be used for wide games, hill walking, mountain biking, geocaching etc..

  • GPS Tracker

    Need to track hikers or perhaps people during a wide game? Then why not hire the District GPS trackers which use mobile phone sims so you can see where everyone is through an easy to use website or smart phone app.

  • iPads

    The District have been donated a bank of 10 cellular iPads which can be used by groups for all manner of things.. Obvious things include Digital Citizen and Digital Maker Badges, Geocaching, Route Planning using Digital Mapping Software, Star Gazing, Creating Movies or Music, researching a topic or subject, learning how to code, Media and PR applications, digitising historical artefacts, tracking young people on a hike using the GPS trackers, helping young people with a disability or learning difficulty but really your imagination is the limit!

    Each iPad comes with an optional Apple Pencil for annotating, drawing and has cellular connectivity if you don’t have an internet connection in or outside the meeting place (Paid for on the iPad separately)

    The Devices are remotely managed and come with tools so leaders can lock young people in/out of certain apps and monitor what they are doing using the Classroom App
