A Blokart is a lightweight, three-wheeled land yacht powered by a sail, similar to the sails used on small dinghies. Instead of water, you’ll be racing across a suitable open surface, using the wind to power your kart.

Blokart sailing is a rapidly growing sport, largely because it’s so accessible and easy to get started.
Blokarts can be packed down into a compact carrying bag that fits comfortably in the boot of most cars. They’re also small enough to travel with, making them ideal for holidays, events and even international competitions.
And almost anyone can take part!
Blokart sailing is suitable for people from around 8 to 80, making it a fantastic activity for young people, adults, families and groups.

The Blokart is controlled using your hands, meaning that height, size or limited lower-body mobility doesn’t have to be a barrier to enjoying the sport.
People with paraplegia, prosthetic limbs and a wide range of disabilities can participate and compete alongside able-bodied sailors.
It’s a sport where the wind is the great equaliser — everyone gets the chance to experience the thrill of sailing.

Depending on the conditions and sail being used, Blokarts can reach speeds of up to twice the actual wind speed.
With four different sail sizes — 5.5m, 4m, 3m and 2m — you can select the right setup for the wind conditions and sailor, from gentle cruising to exhilarating high-speed sailing.
