    Originally built for the slate industry, Clogwyn has been lovingly restored and developed over the years by our dedicated volunteers and Explorer Units, creating a comfortable and characterful place to stay with a story of its own.

    Getting here is easy too. Clogwyn is conveniently located close to the motorway network and only a short distance from Bangor railway station, making it a great choice whether you’re travelling by car, train or as part of a larger group.

    And when you’re ready to explore, there’s an incredible amount to discover right on the doorstep. Head into Snowdonia (Eryri) for breathtaking mountains, challenging walks and unforgettable outdoor adventures, or make your way to Anglesey to discover spectacular beaches, coastline and seaside scenery.

    Small group? No problem! For groups of 12 or fewer, we offer a per-person rate, with a minimum booking of 3 people. Small group bookings can be made up to 6 months in advance.
