Looking for a cosy place to stay near Snowdonia for a small group? The Penrhyn wing offers an excellent venue for up to 7. Great for groups doing D of E expeditions, Adult Training weekends or for Network for an inexpensive get away.  Originally used by the slate industry, the building has been lovingly restored by our centre managers and Explorer units over many years. Close to the motorway network and a short distance from Bangor railway station it’s easy to get to. There’s plenty to do nearby with stunning and exciting mountains in Snowdonia and spectacular beaches on Anglesey both within easy driving distance.

Description

The Clogwyn Centre is split into two wings, Clogwyn and Penrhyn. Penrhyn provides accommodation for up to 7 and also has two large Meeting/Common Rooms.

There are 2 dormitories in total in the Penrhyn building. Each one offers bunk style beds with a mattress and pillow. No bedding is provided so sleeping bags required.
