The District own a number of handheld GPS Units that can be loaned to groups for use in their programme or while participating in Adventurous Activities. We have eight units in total (two of the eTrex 10 model and six of the eTrex 30x model). They can be used for wide games, hill walking, mountain biking, geocaching etc..

Traccar Server Access
Are you running an event where it would be useful to be able to track your Scouts location? For example a Hike, Expedition, Wide Game, Orienteering Competition, Monopoly Run etc
Then Mersey Weaver host our very one private GPS tracking server that can be used to track participants for the duration of the event. The server is fully secured and all traffic is encrypted.
Leaders can use an App on their phone/tablet or a browser window on a their laptop to track multiple Scouts at the same time and see where they are incase they need re-locating. The participant will need to install the client app on a mobile phone with a data connection and connect to our server using a unique identifier.
