Monday Leaders Skills Workshops
24th January 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
FreeReggie and his team of skilled Scouters from a number of different groups across the district are running weekly drop in workshops for leaders who want to come and learn something new that they can take back to their groups. Over the course of the year they hope to cover lots of different seasonal topics you can get your teeth into!
The drop in sessions are free and start at 19:00 but you may arrive later if you wish. There will be tea, coffee and biscuits and lots of opportunity to chat and network. The intention is that these events will be very informal and have a friendly and welcoming atmosphere that leaders casually get involved with  as much as little as they like. Come on your own, come as a group, everyone is welcome!
Over January the sessions will start back up on the 17th Jan be focusing on skills ready to get outside with activities such as “Fun ways to teach Navigation”, “Preparing for pioneering with Whipping, Knots and Lashings, “Belaying for Beginners”. There will be lots of options suitable for every section from Squirrels to Explorer Scouts!
Please ensure you RSVP so we can ensure we have enough resources for each session.
