Duke of Edinburgh Silver – Qualifying Expedition

We are delighted to be able to hold our first Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Silver / Chief Scout Diamond Award Expedition Package.
The package consists of:
- Five evening planning and training sessions
- A day hike (optional if participant has completed their Bronze DofE Expedition or Cheshire Hike)
- A practice expedition over 2 nights and 2 days
- A qualifying expedition over 2 nights and 3 days
In order to participate, you must be either be an Explorer Scout or Explorer Scout Young Leader. If you are using this expedition as part of your Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award, you must also be enrolled for the Award through Cheshire Scouts. In order for the expedition to go ahead, we must have a minimum of four Explorers for the expedition.

All meetings will be held at the District Scout Centre, Moor Lane, Frodsham WA6 7DD. Â The expeditions will start and end at the District Scout Centre, with transport to and from the expedition area by minibus.
