Cub Craft Competition

Are your Cubs ready to get creative, sticky and messy? Be prepared for the Annual Craft Competition!

The idea  is that all teams are given a theme or challenge, problem to solve. The young people either have to design or invent something that meets the brief or solves the problem using the materials they are provided with. The young people will vacate the craft area whilst judging is carried out, to enjoy a short quiz, drink and some biscuits.

Leaders are invited to book teams of up to six Cubs per team by the deadline of 24 February.

Teams

There may be an opportunity of booking extra teams if there is space.  There is a cost of £20 per team to cover their craft materials, venue hire and refreshments.

What to Wear/Bring

The only items you need to bring are scissors, glue and felt tip pens. An identical craft box will be given to each team when the competition commences so everyone starts on an equal footing.

Please wear uniform tops and neckers but potentially bring an apron.

Packs that hold trophies from the last Craft Competition should let Yvonne Woodward or Caroline Myers know to  arrange collection or bring along on the day.
