Clogwyn Artificial Climbing Permit Course

February 3 @ 9:00 am - February 4 @ 4:00 pm

£10.00 – £34.00

We are running a residential Artificial Climbing Permit Course from our Clogwyn Activity Centre in Bangor, North Wales.

The course will cover what you need to know to eventually gain either an Artificial Leadership or Artificial Supervisory Top Rope Climbing Permit so you can take young people climbing. Assessments are also possible on the weekend if you have existing experience.

The course can accommodate up to ten adult leaders. We are prioritising Leaders from Mersey Weaver, Conway and Anglesey & Snowdonia Districts first. If after 9 December places remain, we are happy to open up places to other Districts in Cheshire, Wales and further afield!

We are offering three types of ticket:

  • Day Visitor – £10
  • With overnight accommodation (one night) – £22
  • With overnight accommodation (two nights) – £34

Tea and Coffee provided during the day, but if staying over night you will self cater. There are plenty of supermarkets, restaurants and takeaways in Bangor we can recommend. The Centre provides a very comfortable place to stay and has a lounge with TV and Pool table. We hope course attendees will make the most of the opportunity to network and socialise with other Scouters.
