Kitchen

Contains a 6 burner gas cooker, grill, warming cupboard, fridge/freezer, double sink and instant boiling water heater.. All pots, pans and cooking utensils are provided along with all cutlery and crockery.

Dining Room

Seating for up to 36 so you can all enjoy your meals together with a small lounge area at the end of the room.

Washrooms:

Gents – 2 showers, 3 hand basins and 2 toilets.

Ladies – 1 shower, hand basin and toilet.

Upstairs Toilet – 1 toilet and hand basin.

Drying Room :

Small room available adjacent to changing area

Dormitories:

There are 4 dormitories in total in the Clogwyn Centre. Each one offers bunk style beds with mattress and pillow.

Snowdon – Sleeps 17 people.

Tyrfan – Sleeps 6 people.

Ogwyn – Sleeps 4 people.

Idwal – – Sleeps 2 people.

NO bedding is provided so sleeping bags required.

Penrhyn Wing 

The adjacent building offers a small kitchen and further accommodation with two rooms sleeping 4 and 3 with their own toilet and shower. There is also a large lounge area and games/lecture room on this upper level.

Climbing Wall

The end of the building has a climbing wall which is available with the appropriate scout permits. The climbing wall is free for use by anyone renting the centre with the permission of the Centre Manager and on production of the appropriate Scout Permit or NGB Qualification. The climbing wall can also be rented separately for daytime or evening activities. Contact the Bookings Manager for more information.

The ground floor is used for storage and not for general use but provides access on to the stone beach overlooking Hirael Bay and the Menia Straits.
