The Sky at Night – Explorers

We are absolutely delighted to invite Explorer and their leaders from across Mersey Weaver to a live and interactive zoom workshop with the Alston Observatory!

The session will be hosted by Dr Mark Norris from the University of Central Lancashire who will give the young people a live planetarium show, lecture and the opportunity to ask lots of questions. The session will help Explorers to work through some of the requirements of their Science and Technology badge and is perfect for any aspiring physicists!

The session can only have a maximum of 150 young people from the section so please book early.

N.B. a parent must be in the vicinity during the session.
