Online Section Support Meeting

This is a complex time for our entire Scouting family and teams across Mersey Weaver are continuing to closely monitor the situation.

The most important thing is for us to stay connected with every team member as best we can during this unique situation and keep you up to date with what’s going and share best practice. We are all in this together and the District Team are here to support you so if you’d like to attend our very first online Section Support Meeting on 7 April @ 19:00 we’d be delighted for you to join us.

We understand that not everybody will be able to continue Scouting at this hectic time, but we also know many of you will be more energised than ever and we are still here for you if you need our help.

  • An update on upcoming events
  • How we can continue to support one another
  • How we can continue to support young people
  • An update on Training
  • Demo of OSM Badges from home

Who can attend?

The meetings are primarily for Section Leaders but Assistant Section Leaders and Section Assistants are also welcome. If possible it would be great to see at least one leader from every section represented so information can be shared with other members of the group who may have been unable to attend.

What to wear

Dress code is informal but if you’d like to wear a necker we’ll be wearing ours!
